The Need

Client Account Executive, Kyle Finke, was tasked with finding an agency partner for management consulting firm, Kenway Consulting. The goal was to support a number of initiatives including content development, lead gen, and website management, among others.

Kenway also expressed interest in a freelance writer that would be able to write case studies and miscellaneous internal marketing materials with limited involvement from them.

The Process

Overwhelmed by the sheer amount of agency options that exist, Kyle and Kenway consulted with YouShouldTalkTo over the course of several conversations, with various Kenway team members. Several stakeholders internally always make for an interesting pairing as it’s as much personality matching as it is capability matching.

The goal was to find an agency that not only understood Kenways’ core business and would be able to support it efficiently and cost effectively, but that did NOT compete with the consulting side of their business.

Immediately following the call, YouShouldTalkTo introduced the Kenway team to 3 agencies and several freelance writers that appeared to fit the bill and would be eager to earn their business.

The Outcome

From there, the vetting began. Kenway quickly engaged with one of the freelance writers and continued thre agency vetting. Ultimately, it came down to YouShouldTalkTo agency partner, and one they had found on their own. At the end of the day the YSTT proved to be exactly what they were looking for. Their combination of expertise would allow Kenway to focus on what they do best.
